NAB brings opportunity to explore the newest Technology in FM transmitters

February 11, 1998 - Westminster, Colorado - Itelco will unveil its latest Technology in high power FM transmitters when it will display the TFMK 16, 16 kilowatt Solid State FM Transmitter. The TKFM product line is produced in Itelco's Dolp division that specializes in Solid State FM and microwave equipment.

The TFMK product line offers 500 Watt, 1 kW, 2kW, 4kW, 6kW, 8kW, 10kW 12kW, 16kW, and 20kW transmitters. Transmitters up to 10kW are housed in standard rack units and 12 to 20kW are housed in dual racks.

Unparalleled performance is assured through modular high efficiency MOSFET amplifiers and microprocessor control and monitoring circuitry. The transmitters are frequency agile and can be programmed for up to 8 preset frequencies or a frequency can be key in directly on the exciter front panel. Distributed microprocessor allows for diagnostics of virtually every device in the transmitter as well as remote control and monitoring via an RS232 serial port. With a modem attached to the RS232 port, the transmitter can be monitored and controlled from any location via a telephone line and a Personal Computer (PC).

The TFMK 16 will be on display in the Itelco booth #6043 in the South hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center along with the revolutionary Itelco DAB transmitters and Microwave equipment.
