How to join the Order of The Iron Test Pattern
(Or re-energize your old membership)
To qualify for consideration as a member of the Order of The Iron Test Pattern, applicant must have been acively engaged in the television industry in a technical capacity for a minimum of 15 years. Surviving in technical sales, management of technical employees, or technical writing meets the "technical capacity" requirement. Video engineers also qualify.
At 15 years you will earn an "Officer certificate. At 25 years the certificate says "Commander" and at 32 years your appellation is "Brigadier". Click the "application" button below and print the application. Complete and submit it to Order of the Iron Test Pattern World Headquarters at the Itelco address shown at the bottom of the certificate and receive your new certificate, courtesy of Itelco. Should you wish to order a lapel pin, enclose your check for the pin and handling, indicating this choice on the application. Payment should be in US dollars. Colorado residents include sales tax with your payment.
